Most people are not aware that the Little Rascals were formed during "The Silent Era."
(top) Mickey Daniels, Johnny Downs, Jackie Condon.
(bottom) Joe Cobb, Mary Kornman, Jay R. Smith and a pensive Allen "Farina" Hoskins.
These were the some of original Our Gang kids. God bless Jay R. Smith who was brutally murdered 10/20/2002. May he rest in peace.

According to Jay R. Smith (not pictured in this photo), playing marbles was the thing to do during breaks in shooting the films.
He also commented that Jackie Condon (also not pictured) was quite a player!
